President Mr. Ray Wang, T.Y.LIN International Taiwan and Dr. Sea-Fue Wang, chancellor of National Taipei University of Technology, they have signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 14 2022 with the brief presentation of both parties. It is a significant milestone boosting up offshore wind farm design programs and engineering application technique. The Research Center of Offshore Wind Power Engineering of NTUT, Prof. Yu-Chi Sung as the Executive director to merge faculties from Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. To develop cross-sectoral core substantial technologies in Taiwan offshore wind power industry, as well as upgraded related technical specifications & research for localization. From 2022-2025, the government will develop 5.2GW approximately of phase II of the west coast wind farms in Taiwan, and the expected amount will exceed NT$1 trillion. T.Y. Lin International Taiwan will fully participate in relevant projects for the details design of the underwater foundation and substation for onshore and offshore wind turbines and also join in the phase III offshore wind power feasibility for offshore wind farm developer. T.Y. Lin International Taiwan will fully participate in research and cooperate with NTUT contributed to Taiwan's renewable energy transition and offshore wind power localization.
