The planned water reclamation center construction project is the first one of government owned, medium to large scale wastewater treatment plants adopting turnkey basis in Taiwan.  Doulio Water Reclamation Center is planned for two phased construction works.  The wastewater design average flow rate in Phase I project is 20,000 CMD, while it will be increased to 40,000 CMD in Phase II project.  The liquid treatment processes are: Coarse Bar Screen, Influent Pumping Station, Fine Bar Screen, Grit Chamber, Primary Clarifier, Bio-reactor, Secondary Clarifier, and Disinfection.  The solids processing methods are Thickening, Digestion, Dewatering and Composting. Effluent with a capacity of 3,500 CMD will be filtered and reused as irrigation water for in-plant landscaping and toilet flushing water in administration center.
