	Safety Inspection on Changhua fault for affecting the structure of HSR, Lot CI-14-003
Product Description

According to the investigations conducted on May 2014 by the Central Geological Survey, MOEA, Taiwan possesses 20 faults of category 1. Three of the newly inserted faults travel along the High Speed Railway (HSR) lines. Since the Changhua fault extends in a north-south direction, it partially travels parallel to HSR line. Therefore, it is taken as a first priority for the performance of safety inspections. The Changhua fault is 46.6km long, and is located within HSR Lots C250 and C260. These areas of the HSR lines include Type I, and II viaduct Steel truss bridges, embankments, and tunnels. The project will provide improvement alternatives for Changhua fault based on “Near-fault seismic Design Forces” and inspections criteria made by NAR Labs.
