	Pingtung Interchange, National Freeway No. 3
Product Description

In order to share heavy traffic flow from Jiou Ru Interchange entry/exit national freeway number 3 in Pingtung City area and strength high speed networks structure in Pingtung regional circle to enhance traffic efficiency. Therefore, Pingtung county government has decided to increase one Interchange between Jiou Ru Interchange (391K) and Changzhi Interchange (400K) of national freeway number 3. And it has two interchanges, exit from South side entry from North side and connects by Provincial Highway 27.

The main superstructure of National freeway number 3 viaduct is pre-stressed box girder. The bridge surface transverse pre-stressed caused complex transverse structure. The project design adopts bridge fixation and RC stiffener reinforcement for pedestrian’s safety and future maintenance. Additionally, it reduces thickness of slab and weight by using RC stiffener and chemical anchor bars. It pours self-compacting concrete within founding chemical cohesive anchor bars ensure coherent among new concrete surface and old concrete surface.
