The project starts at the Western Expressway, south of the Fanli creek (130K + 900), and ends at the north of the Dajia bridge (143k + 800). The project was completed in 2000, and it encompassed 13 intersections. Due to the large amount of traffic accidents, local residents petitioned to have the expressway modified. As a result, the whole line was redesigned as a viaduct. This modification will now impact expressway 61, one of the crucial arteries of the city. In order to avoid traffic inconveniences during the construction period, the project adopted a precast segment construction method to achieve the target in time and with good quality. Furthermore, for the areas around county roads 132 and 140, the expressways has highlighted the local cultural characteristics and presented itself as the landmark in the neighborhood.
