Product Description

Sistema Caracas Guarenas-Guatire(SCGG) is one of the newly planned Metro Line that will integrate with the existing Metro Line 1 to 4 in Caracas, Venezuela. SCGG has a total length of 30 km with 6 elevated stations. It will connect the eastern suburbs, Guarenas & Guatire, with Line 5 in Warairarepano station.
SCGG is an elevated line with all of its viaduct portion and station structure supported by single pier. Typical viaduct span is 30~40 whereas the typical station span is 15m. The viaduct and the station structures are designed using seismic isolators to reduce the design seismic force for the piers. The superstructure is made of steel structure to reduce the structure self weight. T.Y.Lin Taiwan works on 3 elevated stations detail design, Guatire 1, Guarenas 1, and Guarenas 2. 3D BIM is incorporated in the design to produce design drawings.
