The Thomson Line Package B Contract 2103 is an underground, automatic, driverless metro in Singapore. The route will pass through 22 stations and connected to 5 others line. TY Lin Taiwan as a part of TY Lin International is involved to design two stations, the T4 Springleaf Station and the T4A Tagore Station.
The proposed station location is on a currently restricted site used by the SAF for military-training purposes. It also sits right at the NE corner of the Tagore industrial cluster, which is mainly comprised of low-rise 3-5 storey industrial / warehousing buildings, and residential area. There is currently no convenient existing link between the proposed station location and this private housing..
Three future entrances (diagonally across the road from each other) are proposed by the Architect for the 2nd stage of the project. Two of the station vent shafts (for both ends of the station) and two sets of escape staircases are located on the Green-field area.
