	Taoyuan International Airport Air Traffic Control Tower Project
Product Description

In order to accommodate air traffic growth and to comply with the space demand of the air traffic control (ATC), a project was emplaced to upgrade the airport’s control tower. TYLin Taiwan cooperated with TYLin International for automation system planning which will comply with international aviation specifications. An international architectural design competition has been conducted and ADPI Paris Airport company was awarded the first prize.
The total site area is of 36,196 ㎡. The 65m height tower encompasses a total floor area of 10,819.76 ㎡ that accommodates tower services, logistics, power and HVAC. The scope of works include: common duct, drainage and landscape planting. The automation system was also upgraded to comply with airport operation requirements and to improve the quality of the ATC service.
The PCM scope of works include :
1. Assistance of Architectural Design Competition and related tendering works.
2. Planning/Design review; automation systems equipment planning.
3. Construction & automation systems related tendering; Construction supervision and compliance.
4. Assistance of completion acceptance and system parallel transfer related works.
