	Runway/Taxiway Rehabilitation Project of Hualien and Tainan Airports
Product Description

Hualien Airport project was launched in 2008 to renovate the existing runway damaged by reflection cracks. T.Y.Lin Taiwan was commissioned by Airforce Team 401 to service of design, planning, and construction supervision to increase runway service duration. Service includes the following activities: Runway pavement inspection, Flexible pavement reinforcement (with AR-4000 asphalt concrete on the surface), Rigid pavement reinforcement (width of runway extended to 45m), Improvement on airfield ground lighting facility (performed by two stages of construction)

The heavy air traffic activities of Tainan Airport in the east runway/taxiway No.6 caused serious damage on pavement which required a whole rehabilitation work being implemented. T.Y.LIN Taiwan was commissioned by the Bureau of Civil Aviation to provide design, planning, and construction supervision service. Service includes the following activities: Runway pavement inspection/Reinforcement, Add-in with reinforced fiberglass mesh, Improvement on airfield ground lighting.
