Product Description

Taipei Dome is the largest indoor multi-function Dome in Taiwan; accommodating around 40,000 people for large-scale concerts, megacorps meetings, lecture and exhibitions activities. Over 37,000 steel trusses have been used in the structure (with approx. 65,000 tons), each with a different camber and distortion making the dome show a perfect arc. egg shape. The construction method adopted was of lifted construction which differed from the traditional launched construction. Using this method not only shortened duration but also made construction safer. It’s indoor long span reach 230m (l) x 170m (w) (height 72m) making it the world's first large-scale asymmetric structure.
