This project is a reconstruction of the Ganqeng bridge across the Sanxia River. In conjunction with Shulin and Tucheng District, the existing bridges was widened. In order to maintain the traffic during construction also both ends of the hinterland are limited, half-half working process are proceed, which applied in three stages. To cooperate with the new bridge elevation, the 1st stage of half road widening and filling up to accommodate the traffic diversion, the 2nd stage is to dismantle half of the Ganqeng bridge, apply the original half to construct new bridge. The new bridge pier is adopt the large span configuration, the 3rd stage is combined the new and the old bridge, excavate the embankment filled with the lower road and complete the downstream side of the new bridge and the bicycle track. The approach of Ganqeng bridge has been expanded before the construction of the project. In order to reserve the flexibility of the new bridge in the future, the existing construction of the Tucheng industrial zone will be combined with the excavation to meet the future traffic demand, and completed in March 2019.
