The peace island bridge is the new alternative route to connect Hoping Island and Keelung County. It starts from the north of the Hoping bridge, extending east along the Batsemen waterway, and south cross Batsemen harbor to connect with Beini road (Tai-2 road). It has a total length of 1.3km. The main span of steel arch is 185m long. With its Y-shaped arch across Batsemen harbor, it not only resembles the harmony present in the local cultural but also creates a landmark for the Hoping district. Furthermore, given the aesthetically pleasing shape of the bridge, it increases the tourism and recreational competitiveness of the area.
