The China Civil and Hydraulic Engineering Society (CCHES) held its 50th annual meeting on 1 December at the Marriott Hotel in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and presented awards for the "112 Years of Engineering Environment and Landscaping Awards", included three of the projects executed by TY Lin Taiwan. The "Dahan River Crossing Recreational Corridor Interconnection Project (Zhongzhuang Suspension Bridge)" (Taoyuan City Government Water Bureau), which TY Lin Taiwan in charge of project management, received a special merit in the category of "Project Beautification and Landscape".

The "Ping-Yuan Highway Tree Planting 2.0 Enhancement Project" (Highway Bureau, Southern Maintenance Sub-branch) , TY Lin Taiwan as detail design firm, received a merit in the category of "Project Beautification and Landscape"; and the "Overall Development of Tsao-Luo Areas 1, 3, and 6 of the Kuan-Yin District, Taoyuan City," for TY Lin Taiwan in charge of construction management, received the "Award for the Redefining of Single-Yuan Municipal Land" award. The "Single-Unit Urban Land Rezoning Turnkey Project" (Taoyuan City Government Works Bureau) won the "Project Beautification and Landscape" award. The works were recognized by scholars and experts for beautiful shapes and compliance with the principles of energy conservation, carbon reduction, sustainable development and eco-engineering. It is encouraged for our colleagues to continually improve the standard of Taiwan civil engineering and water conservancy projects incorporateing engineering aesthetics with environmental landscaping.
