As the largest base at Shilin Science Park in Beitou and located at the portal of main entrance, Kinpo & Compal Group is goiong to invest more than NT$30 billion to the new headquarters building with 55 floors above ground and 4 floors underground and with totalheight of 266 meters.  The well-known architect C. Y. Lee & Partners was assigned to design this project, and T. Y. Lin International Taiwan was responsible for PCM and site stationed construction supervision for this project and the whole project is estimated to be completed by end of 2026.  Several subsidiaries will be stationed in this location in the future.  This project is not only demonstrating the ambition of Kinpo & Compal Group which is to base in Taiwan and expand the business to the whole world, but also will create the headquarters of new-generation with a sustainable perspective.  In addition to economic development, the new-generation science park also has been expected to look after what people's needs for living and surroundings.

The client signed the agreement of superficies with Taipei City Government in January 2022.  With the collaboration of the client, the design unit and T. Y. Lin, the environmental impact assessment and review procedures for urban planning were successfully completed within one year.  On February 8, 2023 the commencement ceremony for construction had taken place smoothly.  The dimension of the base area is about 13,600 pings (equal to 4,114 sq.m.), and the project scale is about 78,000 pings (equal to 23,595).  The tower area adopts the Top-Top method, while the podium area adopts the Top-Down method.  The arrangements for complex construction methods and process are a focal point and challenge for future engineering development.

T. Y. Lin International Taiwan is the pioneer of the designers of high-rise structures in Taiwan, the records of achievement such as Taipower Building, World Trade Center, 85 Sky Tower, Kaohsiung, etc., are all the highest buildings of the times when the projects were in the phase of design.  After that, the business developed towards the construction of large-scale public works, and expanded actively in private business lately.  This case is one of the most representative private construction project for T. Y. Lin International Taiwan in 2022.  The project is to commence in February 2023, marking an important milestone in the development of Building Sector.
