‘‘The project of rerouting provincial highway 15 & 4 is main function as the expansion of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport’’ for the spare land for the construction of Taoyuan International Airport’s 3^rd runway and also the early stage of Taoyuan Aerotropolis project. Once this project has completed, the 3^rd runway of Taoyuan International Airport will start construction by Taoyuan International Airport Corporation. The total length is approximately 7.4 kilometers (including 1.3 km of provincial highway 4 and 6.1 km of provincial highway 15) and the width is 30 meters including four express lanes and two motorcycle lanes, four bridges and one culvert. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on January 10, 2022, with 32-month construction and expected to be completed in June, 2024.
