National Freeway No.1 Yongkang Interchange Access Road (Annan District Changhe Road -Zhongzheng North Road to Yongan Bridge) honored ‘‘the 15th Public Construction Golden Safety Award’’ of Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of the Interior(MOI)
| This project begins from the intersection of Yongan Road and Zhongzheng North Road (Provincial Highway 1) along with the urban planning road (Yongkang branch line No. 7) of Annan living area, passing Yongan Bridge and crossing Yanshui River, ending at Tainan Metropolitan Expressway. It is 1.5 km length with a two-way 6-lane 40M urban planning road. This bridge total 246M length is a six-span bridge with an arched steel beam and steel box girder to minimize the bridge elevation and reduce traffic congestion during road/bridge construction. The identified construction risk was evaluated in the design phase, with precast and launching method with longer span and less piers. The use of alternate-lane construction is one of the improved solutions to minimize traffic impact and secure. |
